About Lady Byron Properties

Lady Byron Properties is a small, one-person business dedicated to creating distinctive living spaces and functional works of art. Inspired by natural building techniques such as cordwood masonry, timber framing, and earth-bermed construction, I enjoy designing and building warm, inviting spaces that blend craftsmanship, history, and creativity. Every project is an opportunity to solve problems, work with my hands, and create places that people can experience and enjoy every day.

The business evolved naturally from my landscape photography company, Montana Panoramic Gallery, where I’ve spent more than two decades searching for beauty, composition, and storytelling through the lens. While photography captures a moment in time, building and restoration offer a different kind of creative expression—one that is physical, hands-on, and lasting. I find tremendous satisfaction in transforming ordinary spaces into places with character, purpose, and a story of their own. Over the years, I’ve rebuilt vintage campers, designed and built furniture, decks, patios, landscaping projects, sheds, and custom saunas—always with an emphasis on craftsmanship, creativity, and functionality.

The name Lady Byron Properties was inspired by the historic Lady Byron Stamp Mill in Philipsburg, Montana, which once stood behind the cordwood home I began restoring in 2018. That restoration became the foundation for this business and sparked a passion for preserving history while creating something new.

Since then, I’ve spent countless hours restoring a historic home in Butte and completing a variety of creative renovation projects, but my favorite project remains The Sasquatch Sanctuary. It has become a one-of-a-kind vacation rental that reflects my passion for thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and Montana character. Since opening to guests in 2025, it has welcomed hundreds of visitors, and nothing is more rewarding than hearing how much people appreciate the creativity, comfort, and attention to detail that went into creating such a unique place from myself and the previous owners/builders.

Whether it’s restoring a historic property, building a custom structure, or designing a one-of-a kind retreat, my goal is always the same: to create spaces with soul—places that tell a story, inspire creativity, and leave people with an experience they’ll remember long after they’ve left.
